2nd ANNUAL STATEWIDE BIBLE READING

On July 14th there will be gatherings across the state of GA, as Bible readings will be held, primarily at 7:14 AM, at each county courthouse.

Last year Bible readings were held, not only in GA, but in 15 other states and in 22 countries.

The date and time were chosen to bring attention to the Scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which is God’s call to His people to turn to Him in repentance, that He may then answer by healing the land.

Georgia has the second largest number of counties in the U.S., second only to Texas which has 254 counties.  Due to the large number of counties, the readings, when divided, allowed the entire Bible to be read in the State of GA in one hour or less.

The Cochran-Bleckley Ministerial Alliance started this event in GA and Jerri Tuck, the ministry’s secretary, has been organizing the various county readings.  If you are interested in being a part of this historic event or wish to know if your county has signed up, please contact Jerri at: 478-230-8316 or jerrituck4@gmail.com.
