VALDOSTA, Ga. – Lifelong Valdosta native Sandra Terrell McGlamery wrote Valdosta Today and sent a video saying:
The young man on the far left when looking at this video is my son, Devin McGlamery. He has been traveling and ministering in music since 2000 when he graduated from Open Bible. He has been with The Dixie Melody Boys, Karen Peck & New River and currently with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. They travel worldwide with quite a lot of friends in foreign countries. This Christmas album is definitely different as they “jazzed” it up! Merry Christmas! one of the most popular and beloved quartets in all of Southern Gospel music. The group has traveled all over the world, offering energy, excitement and encouragement through its powerful brand of gospel music. EHSS continues to gain fans all around the globe with its unique performances and unmistakable four-part harmonies. EHSS is one of the most celebrated quartets in Southern Gospel History mentioned with the same “trailblazing” reverence as groups likes The Statesmen Quartet and The Cathedral Quartet.Sandra Terrell McGlamery
Sandra couldn’t be prouder.
Ernie Haase + Signature Sound performed on the nationally-televised morning program “Fox & Friends” December 24, airing 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. ET. They were scheduled to perform twice during the No. 1 morning show, during the latter half of the 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. hours.
The GRAMMY-nominated quartet is wrapping up a hugely successful Christmas tour and album launch for their new critically-acclaimed album, A Jazzy Little Christmas, which the Los Angeles Times lauded as one of the “Best Christmas Albums of 2019,” writing “this male quartet’s old-school entry evokes memories of the Rat Pack and Tony Bennett, the latter no coincidence since his erstwhile musical director, pianist Billy Stritch, also co-produced this session. It’s roughly half classics and half originals, most directly and effortlessly presented.”
Recently, Ernie Haase + Signature Sound spread Christmas cheer on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s (TBN) Huckabee.TV with Governor Mike Huckabee with a festive performance of “I Like a Sleighride” from A Jazzy Little Christmas.
A Jazzy Little Christmas, released via Gaither Music Group, debuted at No. 1 on SoundScan’s Christian Seasonal Sales chart and Southern Gospel Sales chart, Top 10 on Billboard’s Jazz Albums chart and Traditional Jazz Albums chart and No. 20 on Billboard’s Christian Album Sales chart.
Ernie Haase + Signature Sound recorded A Jazzy Little Christmas in New York City with Tony Bennett’s former musical director and pianist Billy Stritch, award-winning producer Wayne Haun and some of New York’s finest musicians. Along with holiday classics and sacred seasonal songs, the album includes “Christmas in Manhattan.” The video for the original song, written by Haase, Haun and Joel Lindsey, is available HERE.
A portion of proceeds from A Jazzy Little Christmas benefit New York Cares’ Winter Wishes program. The Winter Wishes program partners with family shelters, public housing facilities and public schools across the five boroughs of New York City to provide gifts to children and teens during the holidays. New York Cares is the largest volunteer network in New York City and is a network affiliate of Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, which was founded by Former President George H.W. Bush in 1990.
