Recently, the Black Crow Media radio stations teamed up with O’Steen Subaru of Valdosta to create Harvest For Hunger; a food collection drive to benefit the Hungry At Home group during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Hungry At Home collects food and sends it home in backpacks with those local area students who need it the most, bridging that gap from school meal to school meal.

Thanks to O’Steen Subaru, as well as Black Crow Media, Valdosta Family Medicine Associates, Steel’s Jewelry, Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance and S&S services, donation sites were set up around Valdosta and live radio broadcasts promoted the locations.  The community, including local businesses, came together and donated for the cause.
