Valdosta, GA- The NCAA released the 48-team field for the 2013 Division II baseball tournament late Sunday night, and it will be a familiar opponent staring down Valdosta State in their first game. The Blazers will open up the regional tournament Thursday against Delta State at 3pm.

The south regional will be hosted by the University of Tampa, and will get underway at 11am Thursday.

If VSU beats Delta State on Thursday, they will play the winner of Florida Tech/West Florida at 7pm Friday. If VSU loses to the Statesmen, they will play the loser of Tampa/Stillman at 11am Friday.
