VALDOSTA, Ga.— NCNW will be hosting an event on financial literacy for young adults Saturday, March 28th. This marks NCNW’s 6th annual hosting of this event. Expect much knowledge to be shared through engaging activities such as check book balancing and real estate management and purchasing.

Valdosta-Lowndes NCNW Host 6th Annual S.E.L.F.I.E. Conference
VALDOSTA, GA – The Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Section of NCNW, Inc. is hosting its 6th annual S.E.L.F.I.E. (Success, Education, Leadership, Finances, Innovation and Empowerment) Conference for young ladies and men ages 16-25 years old. This years theme is, “My Money Matters.” There will be free resources and a free lunch. The event will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Maceo Horne Learning Center located at 930 Old Statenville Road in Valdosta, Georgia. There will be engaging activities related to financial literacy, writing and balancing a checkbook, what to look for in making major purchases such as real estate and much more.
