CDC adds new symptoms to Covid-19 list

ATLANTA- The Centers for Disease Control recently added additional Covid-19 symptoms to watch for. They now list 11 primary symptoms to watch for, including nausea or vomiting and diarrhea, but caution that those may not include all possible symptoms.

Those with the illness have reported a wide range of symptoms from asymptomatic or mild to severe. Cases are on the rise in Georgia, and peole are advised to now consider any nausea or vomiting, as well as diarrhea as a possible sign to watch. The following are now listed on the CDC website:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

The CDC site also warns that these may not be all the possible symptoms and they will add more information as it becomes known.
