South Health District hosted its first mobile COVID-19 testing event at Ora Lee West in Valdosta on Tuesday, May 12. Twenty-one individuals were tested during the event at Ora Lee West and to-date South Health District has performed more than 2,400 tests. Remember, anyone interested in being tested for COVID-19 can call their local health department to schedule an appointment for free testing. Free testing is available for all Georgians including those without symptoms. Testing is available in all 10 counties within South Health District which includes Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift and Turner Counties.
