Release: LeAnne McCall, Principal

Good afternoon parents and students,

As you are aware, school systems across Georgia are closed through March 31st to help address concerns regarding COVID 19. In an effort to provide academic support to our students, Lowndes High School teachers and administrators have been meeting via conference calls to develop Learning Opportunities for academic classes.  These Learning Opportunities will be posted on the Lowndes High School web page beginning Tuesday, March 24th.  These instructional activities are designed to provide a review of standards and topics covered during the first 9 weeks of this semester as well as to provide enrichment opportunities for continued learning.

Recognizing that not all students have wireless access to the LHS web page, printed materials of these Learning Opportunities will also be available at the designated food pick-up locations for Lowndes County students.  Please note, these Learning Opportunities will not be graded and are not required to be completed; rather, we wanted to be responsive to our parents and students who have requested this information.

Please keep safe and healthy.  The faculty and staff of Lowndes High School cares about our students. Our community will get through this together!  #ONELowndes!
