VALDOSTA – The Georgia Department of Transportation is alerting motorists that a new traffic signal at the top of an Interstate 75 South off-ramp in Lowndes County is operational.

The signal was installed at the top of the Exit 22/U.S. 41/state Route 7/North Valdosta Road ramp to alleviate congestion and move traffic more efficiently. The signal became operational Thursday.
