VALDOSTA – A Valdosta State University student broke her foot during a photo shoot Monday afternoon, and now her story has gone viral.

Chelsea Whitfield graduates this may and wanted to celebrate earning her business management degree from VSU at the fountain in front of the school’s West Hall. But when Whitfield attempted the classic “mid-air leap pose” ten minutes into the shoot, she didn’t quite stick the landing, breaking a metatarsal in her foot.

Whitfield’s boyfriend posted the story on Reddit, and photos of Whitfield have been trending.
