VALDOSTA – In 2014, Valdosta’s La Quinta Inn & Suites got a complete overhaul. The $1.2 million renovation introduced updated guest rooms, a completely remodeled lobby and new meeting room space that quickly earned the property accolades from La Quinta Rewards Members and other hotel guests.

Renovations aside, what General Manager Rick Oelkers says gets people coming back to the property is his team’s exceptional customer service. This commitment to serving their guests and their nearly 30-year membership with the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber earned La Quinta this week’s Leading Business of the Week designation.

“The Chamber has provided La Quinta with many referrals which have been converted to customers,” Oelkers said. “We are proud to be a part of the Valdosta-Lowndes County community.”

The hotel continues to uphold their strong reputation both here in the community and on a national level, being awarded the La Quinta High Five Award and receiving Trip Advisors’ Certificate of Excellence for seven consecutive years. The hotel is pet friendly and offers its guests a free evening reception as well as a free full hot breakfast each morning.
