VALDOSTA — Businesses looking to maximize the state’s efforts to drive agriculture-related tourism have been in Valdosta, meeting to find ways to grow their businesses.
Members of the Georgia Agritourism Association is meeting for 3 days to learn how to improve their industry and grow opportunity.
Monday saw members getting field work in by visiting various local agritourism farms and vineyards. Tuesday is providing members access to labor and insurance experts related to labor laws, safety and operations. The event concludes on Wednesday.
Best of all, the event facilitates dialog among the membership and a chance to share ideas, successes, and lessons learned.
