ATLANTA — To help around 800 armed forces veterans enrolled as students, Georgia State University announced they will open a law clinic.

School officials report that the Law Volunteer Clinic for Veterans will open November 11.  The school hopes the clinic will demonstrate how a law school can provide a valuable service to these veterans and the community.  A GSU Dean and Law Professor, Steven Kaminshine, who is involved in the project, states the clinic will allow these veteran students to work with experienced volunteer lawyers while the lawyers receive pro bono legal service credit.
