VALDOSTA, GA – Dalton Mayor David Pennington joined The Morning Drive with Chris Beckham Monday morning to discuss his bid to run against incumbent Governor Nathan Deal in 2014. Pennington champions a reduced tax rate and less intervention by government in local schools. He said Georgia’s recovery has lagged behind other Southeastern states due to higher taxes waged and implemented by Gov. Deal.
