VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta releases the Sanitation schedule for Memorial Day informing residents.

The City of Valdosta would like to inform residents that in observance of Memorial Day, city offices will be closed on Monday, May 27. 

On this day, the Valdosta Public Works Department Sanitation Division will only collect garbage (green roll-out cans). Bulk items and yard trash will not be collected on Memorial Day. Regular bulk and yard trash pick-up services will resume on the following business day, Tuesday, May 28. 

Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure that any bulk items or yard trash are set out for collection starting Tuesday.
