VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta will participate in the “Georgia Cities Week” annual celebration in recognizing cities across the state.

The City of Valdosta is proud to announce their participation in “Georgia Cities Week,” scheduled from April 22 to April 26, 2024. This annual celebration is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the invaluable contributions of cities across the state.

Under the theme “Soaring to New Heights,” Valdosta is all set to host a series of exciting events throughout the week!

• Monday, April 22: GA Cities Week Proclamation at Customer Service at 10 AM
• Human Resources Grab-n-Go Employee Lunch at 11:30 AM
• Tuesday, April 23: Utilities Day at Valdosta Early College Academy
• Wednesday, April 24: Valdosta Main Street Food Truck Crawl
• Friday, April 26: Public Works Touch-A-Truck Event from 10 am to noon at 1017 Myrtle Street. Free registration is required.
