LOWNDES CO. – Lowndes High School recently received a $50,000 donation from JCPenney live on GMA3 to make prom extra special.

Release:

To celebrate JCPenney’s new prom collection, JCProm with Johnny Wujek, Wujek joined GMA’s Rocsi Diaz to announce Lowndes High School and three other schools across the country that they’d all receive $50,000 to make their prom extra special this year.

Students were told they were finalists for an unnamed prom giveaway – but had no idea what the prize was or that it was by JCPenney. You can find the link to the segment HERE

In addition to receiving the $50,000 donation, each school’s local JCPenney is offering complimentary salon services for students on their school’s prom day.

JCProm with Johnny Wujek features an array of stunning dresses, separates, and fashion suits designed to dazzle and empower students of all body types. These statement pieces are available in sizes XS-3X for juniors and XS-4XL for young men, with prices ranging from $59 to $250.

These schools were chosen for their dedication to community and service. The donations are in line with JCPenney’s commitment to stand with the communities it serves, making one of life’s moments more special.
