31-year-old Valdosta male arrested for narcotics by VPD

VALDOSTA – A 31-year-old Valdosta resident was arrested on drug charges after complaints of narcotics activity.

Arrested: Dillion Hunter, African American male, 31 years of age, Valdosta resident

On January 26, 2024, Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Detectives, with the assistance of the Power Squad and K-9 Units, executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1700 block of Northside Drive. Detectives had received complaints about narcotics activity from the apartment. Detectives seized cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, and tools that are indicative of narcotics transactions.

Detectives arrested Dillion Hunter, 31 years of age, inside the residence. Hunter was found to have active arrest warrants, which were not related to the search warrant. Hunter was transported to Lowndes County
Jail, and he has been charged with:

  • Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute-felony;
  • Possession of oxycodone-felony;
  • Possession of marijuana-misdemeanor;
  • Possession of drug-related items-misdemeanor; and
  • 3 active unrelated arrest warrants.
