With a 23-13 victory over the Milton Eagles, our Vikings have advanced to the semi-finals of the Georgia AAAAAAA state football playoffs.  On Friday December 18, the Vikings will travel to Suwanee, GA to play the Collins Hill High School Eagles.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm on Fahring Field at Collins Hill Stadium .  The stadium is located at 50 Taylor Road Suwanee, GA  30024.

While tickets for this game will be limited, availability will be much better than previous weeks.  Lowndes has received its allotment of tickets and GHSA has provided paper tickets for the semifinal round.  Tickets are $15 for the semifinal round and everyone, except babies in arms, much have a ticket. 

Tickets will go on sale Monday night at the Viking Touchdown Club meeting.  TD Club members, season ticket holders, and parents may purchase at this time.  Beginning Tuesday tickets will be on sale in the ticket office.  The ticket office will be closed on Friday and no tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium.  Ticket office hours for this week are as follows.

Tuesday – 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Wednesday – 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Thursday – 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

The ticket office is located in the Lowndes Board of Education building at 1592 Norman Drive across from Goo Goo Car Wash.

The Viking Touchdown Club meets in the back room of the Smok’n Pig BBQ Restaurant located at 4228 North Valdosta Road.  Meetings begin at 6:00 pm.
