Arrest made in three Valdosta armed robberies

During the first ten days of December, the Valdosta Police Department responded to three separate armed robberies to local restaurants. The first one occurred at Firehouse Subs, 2525 North Ashley Street. The second one occurred at Cup Works, 3960 Macey Drive. The third one occurred at Pizza Quick, 4165 Bemiss Road. Through thorough investigation and the analysis of evidence collected on the scenes, detectives were able to connect the three armed robberies. On Friday, December 11, 2020, detectives arrested Carlos Mosley at his residence without incident.

Mosely was transported to Lowndes County Jail, where he is being held on three counts of felony armed robbery, and 3 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The investigation is on-going and further charges are pending against Mosely.
