Valdosta Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire on Buena Vista Circle

On Thursday, September 17, 2020, the Valdosta Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 2501 Buena Vista Circle. The call was received from dispatch at 9:33 A.M. The first fire unit arrived within six minutes to find heavy smoke extending from the residence. Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly.

Two occupants were displaced as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The Valdosta Police Department and South Georgia Medical Center EMS assisted with on-scene operations.

A total of nineteen VFD personnel responded to the scene. The cause of the fire was determined to be flammables located close to a heat source.
