Release:

We are getting closer to the beginning of the 2020 high school football season. While there are still many unknowns we are moving closer to seeing football. We are replacing our preseason games with an intra-squad scrimmage this Friday August 21, 2020. The scrimmage will begin at 7:00 pm on Joe Wilson Field at Martin Stadium. The home side will be open and admission will be $5 per person. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. Please make plans to attend and help us inform all Viking fans of the first football event of the 2020 season.

The following Friday on August 28 the Athletic Department and Lowndes High will host a “Meet The Vikings” event at Martin Stadium. This event will feature the band, cheerleaders, and football teams. Details will be released later.

Plans are still being finalized for the selling of regular season tickets.  We want to assure all fans that no one is going to lose their season tickets.  Ample notice will be posted as to the availability of season tickets.  Our schedule will continue to change and evolve. New Hampstead High School (our opponent on October 2) is a Chatham County school and they are no longer playing outside their county.  We are searching for a replacement.  Rest assured we will announce a plan for selling tickets in time for all fans to attend our first home game on September 11, 2020.
