Valdosta 911 call leads to drug bust

On May 9, 2020, at approximately 11 am, patrol officers with Valdosta Police Department responded to the 500 block of East Gordon Street, after a citizen called E911 to report a group of people loitering on a vacant lot. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a subject, later identified as Teisha Morgan. Officers detained Morgan because she had an active warrant for her arrest. Further investigation found that Morgan had possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and pipes commonly used for the ingestion of narcotics. Morgan was transported to Lowndes County Jail on the following charges:

Possession of Cocaine (Felony)
Possession of Methamphetamine SCH II Drug (Felony)
Marijuana Possession Less Than 1 oz. (Misdemeanor)
Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects (Misdemeanor)
