Wild Adventures Opens Saturday for 2020 Season

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Ga. opens this Saturday with the chance to receive a free return ticket, the debut of a re-themed thrill ride and the continuation of a program that offers free season passes for Pre-K aged children.

“This season, we are encouraging guests to ‘Live Your Wild Life’ at Wild Adventures,” said Molly Deese, vice president and general manager. “On Saturday, guests can do that by participating in the ‘Live Your Wild Life Challenge’ to receive a free admission ticket.”

The first 250 guests on Saturday, March 7 who spin the “Live Your Wild Life Challenge” wheel and successfully complete the challenge will win a free single-day admission ticket to return to Wild Adventures at a later date. The challenges include trumpeting like an elephant, playing air guitar, pretending to ride a roller coaster and more.

“The challenge is a great way to kick off our season and invite guests to come back and join us for more fun,” said Deese.

This Saturday also marks the introduction of the newly reimagined Island Falls, formerly Blackfoot Falls. Island Falls takes guests on a boat ride that climbs 50 feet into the air before plunging into the waters below. The ride also features a new observation deck where guests who are watching friends and family take the plunge can get soaked too.

“I’m also excited to say that Island Falls isn’t the only change our guests will experience this season,” said Deese. “Big announcements are on the horizon.”

One of last year’s big announcements, the Pre-K Free Kid’s Season Pass, is continuing this season. The popular program offers a complimentary Season Pass to all three to five-year-old children.

“The Pre-K Free Kid’s Season Pass put smiles on the faces of thousands of children last season, and we are delighted to offer it again in 2020,” said Deese.

To get a Pre-K Free Kid’s Season Pass, parents must first register online at WildAdventures.com/PreK.
