VALDOSTA – On Thursday, the Special Operations Division of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Javarice Raydale Ware for Human Trafficking. Specifically, he was charged for the trafficking of persons for labor or sexual servitude. Additionally, Ware received a number of drug charges.

On Thursday, March 4, 2020 the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Special Operations Division arrested Javarice Raydale Ware, born in 1992 and from Greenville, Florida, for the offense of Human Trafficking, specifically the trafficking of persons for labor or sexual servitude, as well as a number of drug charges.
During the investigation, investigators conducted surveillance of Ware at a local motel, where they identified two females in a vehicle speaking to Ware. Ware was observed directing a victim to a motel room for a sexual act. Interviews with the victims revealed that Ware was found to have transported two females across state lines, to have them engage in commercial sexual acts. The female victims told investigators they had been held against their will and had been threatened with a knife on March 4, 2020, to compel them to perform the sexual acts, as well as to distribute illegal drugs for Ware’s financial benefit.
Upon Ware’s arrest, he was found to have the described knife hidden on his person, as well as items that linked him to the crimes. Investigators were able to aid the victims through a local agency that specialize in victims of trauma related to these crimes. The female victims have identified a pattern of abuse, typical in crimes such as these, they had suffered. Ware is currently being housed in the Lowndes County Jail.
