ATLANTIC OCEAN— (Jan. 24, 2020) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Chantelle Ponder, from Valdosta, Georgia, is assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) medical department.

In this photo, Ponder is being interviewed by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Matthew Rice, from North Manchester, Indiana, assigned to Ford’s media department, in one of the ship’s medical examination rooms.

Ford is currently underway conducting aircraft compatibility testing.
