VALDOSTA— Students in Ms. Daviana Pitts’ first grade class at S.L. Mason Elementary School recently studied the life cycle of chickens. Pitts’ class spent weeks reading books, incubating eggs and eventually watching them hatch. Students then wrote informational texts about the entire process.
