VALDOSTA, Ga. – Kids, and grownups, had a blast at the 2019 Boys and Girls Club Fall Festival. Even a potential future mayor, KevinJ. Bussey, got out there in his Sunday best and dress shoes to play a game of tug-o-war with the kids.

“We win when we invest now for a better tomorrow,” Bussey remarked. “Every decision should have our kids’ futures in the uppermost in our minds.”

Various organizations, including Project REN, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, SISTUHS Incorporated, CARIBSA, Phi Beta Sigma, the NAACP VSU Student Organization, the African Student Association, the Black Student League, and Boys and Girls Club’s hardworking staff, and even Bussey volunteered time and energy into helping pull the event off.
