URGENT: VALDOSTA — Valdosta resident, 59-year-old Maxwell Ferguson is missing. Ferguson wandered away from his home on the 1400 block of Baymeadow Drive in Valdosta on May 8, 2005.

The police report stated, “Ferguson has Alzheimers Disease and Dementia and is considered an Endangered Missing Adult.”

Ferguson was last seen on May 9, 2015 around 5:30 p.m. around Baymeadow Drive. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants and a white t-shirt.

A Mattie’s Call is being initiated through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.  Mattie’s Call is an emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly persons. The alert is an investigative tool that can be activated by a local law enforcement agency,” the police report stated. 

 With any information regarding the whereabouts of Ferguson, call 911 immediately or contact your local law enforcement agency.  

“As a reminder, persons that are considered missing, whether endangered (child, elderly, ill) or not, should be reported to local law enforcement authorities immediately.  There is no “waiting period” or time that has to elapse before reporting someone missing.”
