VALDOSTA — Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man after he attempted to rob a Dollar General employee at gunpoint.

The incident occurred around 1:30 on Monday in the Dollar General parking lot on 5953 U.S. Highway 84 East in Naylor.

The employee was sitting in her car when a white male held her up at gunpoint and demanded she give him money.

The man took off in an S.U.V. or a Chevrolet Avalanche after the victim told him she had no money.

The employee described the man as five feet, ten inches tall, between 160 to 200 pounds, and bald with a gap between his front teeth.
