AMERICUS — Two Army Reserve parachuters were parachuting when they were caught in some power lines and trees.

Lieutenant Alex Francisco and John Gunn were taken to Phoebe-Sumter Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Francisco was reported to have severe burns but was conscious and alert.

The parachuters were near Souther Field Airport when they became tangled during a training mission.
