Valdosta > Woman Stabs Husband With Kitchen Knife

VALDOSTA — Valdosta Police Department officers found a man bleeding from his chest inside of a home on Monday.

Police and EMS officials found Larry Brown around 8:24 p.m., at 924 McAfina Trail.

Police began questioning two females at the home, one of them was Brown’s wife, Tina Brown and the other, their 15-year-old daughter.

Tina Brown told police that she had been using drugs and arguing with her husband throughout the day. That night she stabbed him with a kitchen knife.

Mrs. Brown was arrested and taken to Lowndes County Jail. She received arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Knife During the Commission of a Crime, Tampering with Evidence, and Cruelty to Children in third Degree.

Police notified the Department of Family and Children Services about the Brown’s daughter, who was placed with relatives for the time being.

Larry Brown was taken to South Georgia Medical Center for surgery on his injury.
