ALBANY — Two more people have been arrested and charged with the murder of an Albany man in 2012.
Monquez Jackson and his brother-in-law, Dwayne Britt were indicted for the murder of Anthony Westbrook. Jackson and Britt received charges for murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, financial card theft and fraud charges.
The third person charged, Tomeka Porter was indicted for conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Porter helped Jackson and Britt attempt to erase evidence from Westbrook’s stolen vehicle.
Monquez Jackson’s wife, Sade Britt was charged for Westbrook’s murder a year later, in March 2013.
On April 3,2012, Jackson shot Westbrook in the back of the head.
