ALBANY — Two people have been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for the murder of a man.

Lewis Floyd Jr. and his partner in crime, Tara Harrell murdered William Jackson on August 14, 2013 in a Dollar Inn motel room located on North Slappey Boulevard.

Floyd received charges of murder and the possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

Harrell has been convicted of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
