Valdosta > Five Valdosta Residents Receive Drug Related Charges

VALDOSTA– On Friday, Feb. 6, Valdosta Police Department arrested and charged five people with drug related charges. Police arrested; 50-year-old Marcella Spencer, 41-year-old Michael Robinson, 42-year-old Terry Williams, 29-year-old Braneisha Mercer and 33-year-old Joseph Young.

The police received multiple complaints about suspicious activity at 306 E. Rogers Street. The VPD Narcotics Unit and officers received a search warrant for the home after performing an investigation.

Officials searched the home and found approximately 415.1 grams of marijuana, equaling a  street value of $8000.

Officials arrested the home’s resident, Spencer for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Sale of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Narcotics Tools.

Robinson was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

Williams was arrested leaving the home and received charges of Driving on a Suspended License, Possession of Cocaine and Sale of Cocaine.

During the search, Power Squad Unit arrested and charged Mercer with Misdemeanor Probation Violation, and Young with Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.

The five criminals were transported to Lowndes County Jail.
