DOUGLAS — Coffee County authorities are reporting the capture of an escaped Coffee County Jail inmate.

Troy Wilson Lambert was being transported to the Coffee County Jail.  At the entrance to the jail, he managed to remove his handcuffs and run away.  The escape occurred Saturday afternoon.

He then, according to reports, climbed a razor wire fence and escaped.  He was captured later Saturday evening by authorities.

Lambert had been charged in Charlton County on Domestic Violence charges and Burglary.
