VALDOSTA, GA – Shannon Pollock has been named the Dean of Student Affairs for Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Pollock has been serving as the Interim Dean since October of 2013. Her previous positions include the Director of Curriculum for Wiregrass, the Registrar for Valdosta Technical College, and the Registrar and Executive Registrar for the North Metro Campus of Chattahoochee Technical College.

Shannon has a Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources from Park University, and Master of Science in Education in Enrollment Management from Capella University. She is currently working towards her Doctorate in Public Administration from Valdosta State University.

In her role as the Dean of Student Affairs she will coordinate and manage all functions of the admissions, registrar and office of special populations for all Wiregrass Campuses. Wiregrass has four campus locations including Fitzgerald, Douglas, Valdosta, and Sparks. They also operate a satellite office located at Moody AFB.
