MOULTRIE, Ga. – Following an animal rescue, Moultrie Humane Society discovered that one of the dogs’ spine was detached. Due to her injuries, the dog had to be put down, according to WALB.

The dog, Willow, was found in a ditch and her puppies nearby in a drain pipe. The Humane Society is asking for help from the public in getting justice for Willow.

In order for the case to move forward, more information is needed from the community. The incident happened in the 500 block of Circle Road.
