LOWNDES, CO. – The public is invited to attend the Lunch on the Lawn concert series in April at the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse.

The Lowndes County Board of Commissioners are excited to announce the Lunch on the Lawn concert series, happening in April on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse, located at 100 East Central Ave in the heart of Downtown Valdosta.

This event, which is free and open to the general public, features live performances from 11am to 2pm, on Friday April 12 and 26. Concert attendees may bring their lunch or purchase lunch and beverages from a restaurant in Downtown Valdosta.

This spring’s lineup features local musician Joe Smothers Friday, April 12 and Air Force Veteran Zack Mannino on Friday, April 26.

“Lowndes County is thrilled to host Lunch on the Lawn for our residents on the lawn of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse,” said Meghan Barwick, Public Information Officer, Lowndes County. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, relax during their lunch break, enjoy great live music, and savor the beauty of our Historic Courthouse in the heart of Downtown.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy their lunch outside.
