VALDOSTA – The City of Valdosta will host a community “Paint in the Park” event for individuals to create a painting with a guided instructor.

The City of Valdosta’s Neighborhood Development Division is thrilled to announce “Paint in the Park,” a community event hosted at Unity Park Amphitheater at 301 E Central Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31601. This event will occur on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm.

“Paint in the Park” offers individuals of all skill levels an opportunity to unite and unleash their creativity in a beautiful outdoor setting. Participants will be provided with all the necessary painting supplies to transform a blank canvas into a unique work of art.

One of the event highlights is that an experienced art instructor will teach participants as they explore their artistic talents.

“We are excited to bring the community together for a day of creativity and connection at Unity Park,” said Anetra Riley, Neighborhood Development and Community Protection Manager. “Paint in the Park is a wonderful opportunity for residents to enjoy a fun-filled day outdoors while discovering their inner artist.”

Please note that participation in “Paint in the Park” is on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot. Additionally, complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided to keep participants energized throughout the event.

This event is free and open to the public, thanks to the generous support of The City of Valdosta’s Neighborhood Development Division.
