VALDOSTA, GA – Valdosta State University has confirmed that two employees, a staff member and a faculty member, have tested positive for COVID-19. Both of them are now recovering at home, and the Georgia Department of Public Health will be reaching out to people that have been in contact.

VSU says the risk of COVID-19 to students and employees remains low, and that health officials are taking measures to quickly identify Coronavirus cases and reduce the spread of the virus.
