FITZGERALD — Ben Hill County Sheriff’s office reported that a 3-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool on Sunday.

Around 1:45 p.m., Kaiden Sanders was found in the bottom of an above ground swimming pool on 114 Ostrich Lane.

The report stated that a female named Amanda Cooper was inside the house when she noticed Sanders in the pool.

Sanders father and another man pulled the child out of the pool a little too late and he passed away at Dorminy Medical Center.
