VALDOSTA — Two men were arrested and charged with burglary and theft by taking. The men, 43-year-old Thomas Vickers and 48-year-old Erroll Parker stole lawn mowers, weed eaters, lawn blowers, and a four wheeler from local residents.

One of the victims gave Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office a surveillance video which showed one of the men entering their garage. The man in the video was Vickers. Deputies recovered many of the stolen items and returned them, after arresting Vickers.

Parkers was arrested for assisting Vickers in the burglaries.

The Sheriff’s Office is investing the case and the men may receive additional charges.
