LOWNDES COUNTY, GA – Congratulations to the Future Business Leaders of America, FBLA, students from Hahira Middle, Lowndes Middle, and Pine Grove Middle who attended FBLA-ML State Leadership Conference in Perry, GA, on February 25, 2014. The students competed against (13) Middle Level Regions located across the state of Georgia. Members attended several leadership workshops throughout the day such as: Leadership Mission Possible, Leadership Olympics, Older Doesn’t Always Mean Wiser, How Much Does a Polar Bear Weigh, and Judging the Book by Its Cover. As a result of what was learned at the meeting, these students will introduce fresh ideas and exciting activities and projects to their chapter members.

New State Officer Elected to serve:
Congratulations to Kierra Miller for becoming the new 2014- 2015 Middle Level State Secretary. Kierra and her advisor (Mrs. Sharon Walker) will attend the upcoming Summer Leadership and Summer FBLA Region & State Officer Training, Fall Motivational Rally, Fall Leadership Conference, Region Leadership and State Leadership Conferences for the upcoming year. Kierra is ready to “Chart Her Course” in GA FBLA Middle Level activities for the upcoming year.
