HONG KONG, China – Google confirmed on Wednesday that they will be shutting down all of its China offices, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, due to the coronavirus.

The Verge reported that a Google spokesperson says the company plans to keep the offices closed and restrict business travel to mainland China and Hong Kong.

Health officials say the virus has led to at least 132 deaths and has more than 6,000 confirmed cases. A number of other companies have also began to restrict employee travel. United Airlines and American Airlines have began to cancel upcoming flights from the US to China.
