Remember when Starbucks revealed their holiday cup last year, and it was just plain red with their logo . . . and there was a BACKLASH online because it wasn’t Christmas-y enough?
Well this year, it seems like Starbucks’ response was, “Okay, you want Christmas cups? Here you go, have all the Christmas cups in the world.”
Starbucks is putting out THIRTEEN different holiday cups this year and they’re completely COVERED in Christmas and winter illustrations . . . like, to the point where most of them are hideously ugly. Intentionally? I sort of wonder.
Some of the designs are ornaments hanging from tree branches . . . reindeer flying through the sky . . . Christmas lights . . . snowflakes . . . and trees covered in snow.
The cups are available today through the end of the holiday season.
