VALDOSTA— Valdosta State University’s Science Saturday is one way that VSU encourages younger generations to get more involved with a variety of VSU’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects. Adventures in Mathematics and Computer Science will be the theme for this Saturday.
Adventures in Mathematics and Computer Science will showcase activities such as robot programming, Python code, paper design techniques such as origami and hexaflexagons, and the Tower of Hanoi. Though the activities’ difficulty levels are set for middle school aged students, all are invited to attend and enjoy the event. This Science Saturday will last from 9 AM to noon.
