LOWNDES— Lowndes County Schools was proud to announce that Lowndes Middle School had three band students to qualify for the District 8 Honor Band! Jacob Rutland, Tiffany Rutland, & Ethan Thompson competed against students from 22 counties to earn a spot. In addition, Ethan has advanced to the 2nd round of auditions in which he will compete against the top trumpet players in the state. Congratulations to these fine musicians!
