OCILLA — Ocilla Police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have charged Donnell Lewis with voluntary manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of Demetrius Fuller.

Fuller, the 24-year old victim, bled to death after being stabbed in the neck over the weekend.  Lewis, 43, was being held on probation violation.

GBI Agents stated the fight started at the corner of Fieldstone Drive and Seventh Street at the front door of a house, and then spilled over into a yard.

Reports state that evidence markers show two spots on the door where the fight started.

Agents are inspecting a car in an in an Irwin County tow lot. Reports state Fuller died on his way to the hospital.

Police say the two men did know each other, but there are questions regarding what started the fight.
