VALDOSTA — Fugitive Eric Sheppard has been returned to Lowndes County to face charges related to his activities on campus at Valdosta State University and failure to respond to authorities.

Eric Sheppard was transferred Wednesday morning by deputies from the Hillsborough County Jail to the Lowndes County Jail. He has since appeared in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court for an arraignment hearing. At that hearing, the judge denied a bond for Eric Sheppard.

Eric Sheppard will remain in the Lowndes County Jail until a bond is set.
